Dadnir.5038. The skin thematically fit the necromancer but necromancer's focus skill aren't that great unfortunately. I'd suggest guardian as it's focus skill are pretty strong compared to other professions. Elementalist wouldn't be a bad option but you hardly have the time to look at your focus on this profession.

3.8k. Posted October 19, 2017. I voted for ranger1) you can send your pet off to fight a mob beside a node so you can harvest, run off and then swap pets to drop agro.2) traps are great, especially the spike trap that flings mobs in the air, slowing them down and interrupting them.3) rangers have good speed boosts.

For 1 by 1 situations, I'd recommend Power Mesmer (greatsword / Sw/Sw). GS #2 and GS#4 delete normal mobs and you can always throw in a shatter or damage mantra. Swords get you another ranged illusion and skill to port to the mob for melee. Power deadeye can work, as can Soulbeast with LB.
Daredevil is supposed to be more survivable than core Thief and Deadeye. Daredevil runes have toughness as a stat, which can tell you what Anet was generally going for with the spec. Bearbow ranger with longbow. Let bear tank all enemies, swap bears when the pet hp gets low, and just shoot from 1200 range.
Raid Builds. Raid and Strike Mission builds for GW2. A wide variety of recommended/meta, great and viable builds and guides for all classes in Guild Wars 2. Section builds are up to date for the November 28, 2023 patch. Thief has very high mobility in general, but not necessarily on d/d. It's probably the only class that can fully utilize d/d build and it's somewhat good in end game pve, but there's also much better choices so it's not very popular build. Most of pvp/wvw builds use only one dagger, main or off hand, depending on build.
Classes don't affect your personal story, only your race and some choices you make during character creation and the choices you make throughout the personal story. In my personal opinion, Sylvari have the best story. It's also more intimately tied to the general overarching story for reasons that, if I told you, would spoil the story.
[Guide] One of the most common questions new players ask for help picking out a class to play. Below I've summarized the selling points of all the classes, as well as detailing their Elite Specializations which are class variants you can unlock in each of the game's expansions. Before we get going I'd just like to go over point out a few things: Learn which professions are the most powerful and fun to play solo in Guild Wars 2, based on the Elite Specialization that each one offers. Find out the pros and cons of each class, the best Elite Specialization for each one, and how to choose the best build for your playstyle. UUz9.
